It's 62+ for Senior pass

I paid a $10. Fee for a senior pass, It allows me to enter any national park free for lifetime as well as anyone in the same car or up to 4 persons if they charge each person

It's obvious that it's a canyon. It is called the "Grand Canyon".

There were lots of squirrels on top and in the canyons. Lizards were everywhere. Birds of all kinds and elk up along the south rim.....

The south rim bus system is amazing and easily accessible. The distances traveled between the bus stop and the canyon rim are very short with paved flat walkways throughout. You should have no trouble with getting around! :) Just be weary of the upcoming summer months though, it can get quite hot. Be sue to take a hat and sunscreen!

4 hours and 30 minutes 270 miles around

You can visit most of the park year round

Yes dogs are allowed on the top rim trail. Dogs are not allowed in the trail that goes down into the canyon. There is a kennel where our dog stayed while we hiked down the canyon. The kennel staff was good to her. The cost was $22 for the day. They require your dog to have her shots up to date including the shot for boarding the dog. The park rangers are very helpful and our family including the pooch enjoyed this natural wonder. Well worth the visit with your best friend.
